Madness will headline Bedford Park next summer. General tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 25 September, so anyone who wants them has three days to get ready.
The band play Friday 2 July 2027, with Scouting for Girls as special guests. The promoter’s own event page confirms both the date and the on sale time. Ticketmaster, the official ticket agent, lists the show as starting at 5pm.
Madness are the first act announced for the 2027 series. The band’s own live listings carry the Bedford date as part of a run of outdoor shows next summer, alongside Delamere Forest, Thetford Forest, Cartmel Racecourse, Cannock Chase, Westonbirt Arboretum, Rochester Castle and York Racecourse.
The concerts have a new name
The series is now called Live at Bedford Park and runs from 1 to 4 July 2027, four nights. It was previously Bedford Summer Sessions.

Three of the four 2027 nights have not been announced yet. A four-day Early Bird Festival Pass is already on sale through the promoter, starting at £199, and it covers all four headliners whoever they turn out to be. Buying it now means committing before three of the acts are known.
The park itself
Bedford Park is the borough’s own. The council describes it as a Grade Two listed Victorian park and the largest urban park in Bedford. It opened in 1888, holds a Green Flag Award, and has a tree trail of original plantings from the 1888 design.
Day to day it carries tennis and basketball courts, cricket and football pitches, a bowls green, an outdoor gym, play areas and a café, The Pavilion At The Park. The car park gives three free hours, which is worth knowing on a normal day and worth forgetting on a concert night.
Ticketmaster gives the venue address as Bedford Park, Bedford, MK40 2PF, and the council places the park in the north of Bedford. The three free hours in its car park will not cover a gig.

- The four-day pass starts at £199 and is on sale now, but only one of the four headliners has been named.
- The show is Friday 2 July 2027, listed as starting at 5pm, with Scouting for Girls supporting.
