Richard Fuller MP holds a drop-in surgery at All Saints Church Hall, Kempston Rural, on 20 November, 12.30 to 2pm, then Great Denham on 4 December.

Richard Fuller, the MP for North Bedfordshire, is holding a drop-in surgery at All Saints Church Hall, Church End, Kempston Rural (MK43 8RH), on Friday 20 November from 12.30pm to 2pm. No appointment is needed. Constituents are seen first come, first served.

His next surgery in the borough after that is at Great Denham Community Hall, 86 Saxon Way (MK40 4GP), on Friday 4 December from 3pm to 5pm. That one is by appointment only.

The dates come from his office, which sent them to us on 3 November, and match the list on his surgeries page.

The town hall meeting in Everton

The Everton meeting on Friday 6 November is not a surgery. It is a public forum. His office says it is “an opportunity to hear my views on current issues and ask me any questions directly”. It is open to anyone in the constituency.

The last one was in Shortstown on 22 October, at the primary school on Beauvais Square.

At his last drop-in, at Turvey Village Hall, he was joined by two borough councillors. Writing afterwards, he said:

“Many thanks to those who came to see me at my latest drop-in surgery in Turvey Village Hall. I was also pleased to be accompanied by Councillors Robert Rigby and Dylan Simmons who were helpful with their unique knowledge of local issues and Bedford Borough Council priorities.”

What it means for you

Surgeries are for constituents only. “Parliamentary protocol requires that each MP should only assist people who live in their constituency,” his office says. If you are not sure he is your MP, his surgeries page has a postcode checker.

If you would rather email, his office sorts messages three ways:

  • Casework, such as a problem with a government department: he replies directly by email. You must include your full home address, or he cannot reply.
  • Views on government policy: he reads them, but “it is not always possible for me to respond”. He suggests a surgery or a town hall meeting instead.
  • Template campaign emails: answered on his policy and campaign replies page, and you may not get an email back.

His office also asks for emails in your own words. “I appreciate that AI can be a useful writing tool, but if your previous email was AI-generated, please feel free to reply again using your own phrasing,” the reply says.

His email is richard.fuller.mp@parliament.uk. The constituency office is at Biggleswade Conservative Club, St Andrew’s Street, Biggleswade SG18 8BA.

For council matters such as bins, potholes or planning, your borough councillor is usually the first call.
